Comfortable Berlin Bolthole

Positiv: Very well-stocked flat (shampoo, washing-up liquid, etc). Location 5 mins from buses/S-Bahn/U-Bahn. Supermarket 7 min walk, and several excellent neighbourhood restaurants within 10 mins. Comfortable beds. Flat exactly as described.

Negativ: Front bedroom had some traffic noise, despite double glazing. Glass front door was partially see-through, and was almost directly on the street. Some wobbly floor tiles in the bathroom.

Solid apartment for appropriate price

Positiv: - The flat was exactly as described on the site, no more and no less, hence this is a rather short review. - Three keys provided. - Provided cooking materials were more ample than described

Negativ: - Walls were rather thin; you can hear the neighbours - Pillows were unusual in shape and super thick, no alternative pillows. - No control over the thermostat / heating; if its winter you just have to hope and pray it kicks in

Comfortable, quiet, and convenient

Positiv: Everything to praise, nothing to fault. The apartment is quiet, spacious, well-equipped and well located, on the ground floor of a period building. There is lots of local commerce, including an Edeka supermarket two minutes' walk away, and many places to eat around Hallesches Tor station. Mitte and Berlin Hbf are a short bus ride (or a very pleasant walk) away. Excellent directions from host made the apartment easy to find. Lockbox and spare keys made for frictionless check-in and check-out.

Negativ: Everything was excellent.
